A lightweight poplar wood core provides strength, stability and responsive performance without unnecessary weight. An ash binding-reinforcement band adds 10% more strength beneath the binding area for increased durability and dependable power transfer.

The updated construction uses more wood and less metal, fiberglass and resin to reduce the environmental impact of production. Combined with a Chris Benchetler-designed topsheet containing more recycled material, these changes reduce material-related CO₂-equivalent emissions by 13% compared with the 2022 Bent Chetler 120.
