DPS

DPS

Since its founding in 2005, DPS has offered a different vision of skiing, focused on innovation and mountain performance. Cofounded by ski design engineer Peter Turner and professional skier Stephan Drake, the brand was born from a clear intention: to rethink ski manufacturing by exploring innovative shapes and integrating advanced materials such as carbon fiber. Going against traditional approaches, DPS has helped push skiing far beyond powder.

The launch of the Lotus 138 marked a key moment in the brand’s history. This bold shape transformed the powder skiing experience and has had a lasting influence on the evolution of modern freeride. Other models followed, reinforcing DPS’s reputation as a reference for ski design and on-snow feel. In 2013, the company established itself in Salt Lake City, at the heart of the Wasatch Mountains, becoming the first brand to produce skis with fully carbon laminates under one roof. To this day, each ski is pressed, finished, and tested locally, following a rigorous philosophy: prioritizing performance above all, selecting every material for its technical qualities, and designing skis without compromise.
